Emma was raised and educated on the Isle of Man, training at the Christine Wild Theatre School and appearing in professional and amateur productions at the Gaiety Theatre until attending the University of Hertfordshire where she gained a BA Hons Performing Arts. After working at the Hackney Empire Theatre in London, in 2001 she returned to the Isle of Man and the Gaiety stage. Most recent roles have included Kate Monster in Avenue Q (Shoestring Productions) and Geraldine Grainger in The Vicar of Dibley (The Service Players) as well as Assistant Director with Taylorian Productions and The Service Players. Emma has been Arts Development Manager with the Isle of Man Government for ten years, working closely with the IOM Arts Council.

As the Arts Development Manager, Emma leads the team in their support of the IOM Arts Council and delivery of the National Development Strategy for Culture and the Arts.
