This has been an exciting opportunity for Mae’s own personal development as a musician and singer and one that has enabled her to take her music to an international audience. Mae will be supporting the band tomorrow night at a gig at Paradise Exiles. Described as “one of Malta's favourite bands” by lovinmalta.com, Red Electrick are a group of five members who have amassed a large fan base in their native Malta as well as further afield.
Theirs is a sound collectively influenced by both the bluesy swagger of 70s rock and a more contemporary lilt that flaunts as much groove as it does grit, all delivered with an encompassing ray of Mediterranean sunshine that probably explains the upbeat feeling their music effortlessly projects.

Jo and Mae’s style work beautifully together from the snippets we’ve seen on Mae’s Instagram Stories. Mae’s soulful and stripped back sound is complimented well with the upbeat guitar melodies. Joe’s smokey, husky voice compliments Mae’s sultry and airy vocal. We look forward to hearing more of the finished sound!
