Manx National Heritage is offering space for individuals and community groups to create their own exhibitions within their sites.
All proposed exhibitions should demonstrate either strong links with MNH's collections or celebrate Manx community, heritage or culture. Proposals are welcomed from artists, curators and all members of the public.
Due to MNH's very busy exhibition programme, exhibitors are asked submit their proposals a minimum of 12 months prior to the prosed exhibition date. Applicants are also asked to consider what they aim to achieve with the exhibition, its overall theme, how it will be presented and the benefits it will have on the local community.
This is a great opportunity for artists who feel that their work has a strong connection with Manx culture and history to exhibit their work on the island. Successful applicants will be assigned an MNH member of staff to liaise with and discuss exhibition plans. Exhibitors will also be provided with other means of support from technical advice on installing the exhibition to marketing and advertising it.
