Q. What does a typical day look like for you?

Getting ready for a busy day to be fair haha!

Q. What is your favourite way to relax?

Putting on my headphones and going on a walk around the city, it helps you clear your mind and take in life.

Q. Who is your favourite Artist and why?

Kanye West. Since I was 6 I remember always loving him. First, for his music but when I started getting older and was able to use the internet I would always watch his live performances and interviews and thought ‘wow’ there's no one like him who is just speaking their mind so openly and having that amount of belief in themselves.

Q. Where do you gather inspiration from?

I would probably just say whatever I see around me. If it's intriguing, I’m hooked.

Q. What is your greatest achievement?

I would probably say receiving this scholarship as I’ve never seen my parents be so openly proud about something that I have done or received.

Q. What are you most proud of learning in your course so far?

To be honest, everything we have been taught has been so new to me. We are currently creating shirts, so the whole process of that has made me proud that I have been able to follow all these new processes to create a basic everyday piece of clothing from scratch.

Q. Choose three people, dead or alive, to invite to dinner?

Kanye West, Jean Michel Basquiat and Kid Cudi.

Q. If time/money were no object, what would be your perfect day?

Driving around with my friends listening to music while eating Chinese food.

Q. What do you love most about the Isle of Man?

How easy it is to get away from the noise and the complications of life by going on a walk to the glens or along the hills.

Q. What do you love the least about the Isle of Man?

How the island takes its time to move into the future.

Q. What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?

I would probably say don’t be too nervous to do things you want to try and don’t let that self doubt and anxiety get in the way of everything.

Do you have any recommendations of things you’re loving at the moment (books, TV, Music etc.)?

In terms of music I’m really loving Kanye west latest album Jesus is king, Bay Faction’s Florida Guilt and Kid Cudi’s Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’, for tv haven't really been watching much except for The end of the f***ing world. In terms of books I’ve been enjoying Francoise Sagan’s Bonjour Tristesse, yeah those are really the things I’ve been loving right now and also going to the cinema and watching as many films as possible. My favourites include Joker, The goldfinch, The peanut Butter Falcon and so many more.
