Abvhiael Crowley

Watercolour artist and sometime poet of Manx/Welsh/Irish heritage currently living on Cape Breton Island, off the eastern coast of Canada. At 50 years of age, I am looking to spend my golden years in the place of my great-grandfathers, to settle into the timelessness of the Isle of Man. I dream of Ellan Vannin, and while I found a similar atmosphere over the past few decades on the coast of Nova Scotia, there's no place on earth which satisfies my heart so much as the Isle of Man. My watercolours allow me to immerse myself with the island, with the hope that I will make the island that place where I enjoy to the fullest all those of my quiet years, exploring the glens and hilltops, the streets and plantation lanes...

My commercial art currently consists generally of ice-hockey themed portraiture, but my creative time is spent painting imagery of the Isle of Man. I have only recently opened an online storefront (https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/APCrowleyStudio) where over the next few months I will be listing for sale limited-edition prints of these Manx scenes and others in hopes of funding my move "Home".
