Ellen Gayle

Ellen is a singer/songwriter with 10 years professional experience. Growing up in a creative family taught Ellen everything she needs to know about music. She was surrounded by instruments and singing voices since day one. Constantly being inspired by her parents and siblings, all six of them.

At the age of 17, she left school and set off on her creative journey and within 6 months she had been featured on WestSound Radio and was recognised in a national songwriting competition. This is when she decided to join forces with her younger sister, Rosie.

And The Mermaids were born. 7 magical years led both of these girls on a journey across the UK. From their own BBC Introducing session to performing at The Royal Albert Hall where they supported Jools Holland. The Mermaids celebrated many successes with their own original music. After an Album here and and EP there they decided to go their seperate ways to focus on other aspects of their life.

This is when Ellen moved to the Isle Of Man. After many years, she has found her way back to songwriting recently and is facing new beginnings. You can find her music on all social media's, @ellengaylemusic.
