Eyan Tomkins

Eyan's Peel based gallery and studio can be found by the marina. He started drawing at a very young age, but school stifled his creativity, and he didn’t start painting until 2010. Eyan is self-taught and has been developing his artistic skills in the use of acrylic and oil paint, applied by brush, pallet knife and airbrush. 

Eyan also works in photography and with ceramics, throwing pottery, creating sculptures and working with digital designs. Eyan specialises in large painted pieces and will take commissions of any size in any location. He enjoys singing and playing the guitar and can often be found busking in Douglas.

Eyan opened Strooys Gallery in Peel in November 2020, after 6 months hard work creating 17 large original paintings of famous Isle of Man scenes and landmarks. Strooys Gallery now displays all these works, including 100's of limited edition prints and photography, ceramics, accessories and the works of more than 10 other local artists.
