Victoria Blayney

Born in Hampshire in 1980, Victoria studied at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design, and received her honours degree in Three Dimensional Design. 

During her studies, she learnt to sculpt, paint, draw and started out as an in-house artist for an Interior Design company. Victoria has painted her whole life, and recently wrote and illustrated a children’s book about a Manx cat. 

Victoria’s work aims to encourage the imagination of a child, but also encourage adults to reconnect with their own childlike imagination. Perhaps it got lost over the years!

Her work often include’s an element of humour, wishing to make the viewer smile and think, ‘why not’?!

Victoria’s book ‘Tom’s Bobble’, is sold worldwide, and she is currently working on another.

Victoria paints in oil, acrylic, watercolour and inks. She also dabbles in lino printing.
