The guest list brought together a vibrant cross-section of the Island’s creative community whose work has been supported by the Isle of Man Arts Council over the decades. From musicians, dancers, and actors, to visual artists, writers, filmmakers, and photographers, the event served as a living showcase of the talent and diversity the Council has championed since its formation in 1965. More than a gathering, the evening was a celebration of sixty years of arts, culture and creativity for everyone.

Mrs Maltby MHK, Chair of the Isle of Man Arts Council, said: “It was a privilege to celebrate sixty years of the Isle of Man Arts Council in the company of so many talented individuals who make up our Island’s creative scene. From those who laid the foundations decades ago to the artists shaping our future, this evening was about honouring their contributions and recognising the vital role the arts continue to play in our community. The event was a fitting tribute to six decades of artistic endeavour and public support for the arts. Seeing so many past and present applicants, council members, and collaborators gathered together reminds us of the power creativity has to unite, inspire, and enrich lives.”
