On the Blog: Olivia tells us about week one of Ellyn
Hello lovely readers!
Wow, what a week!! It’s so nice to see so many lovely faces popping in to visit the Ellyn exhibition in its first full week open to the public. We know the weather isn’t always on our side as we adjust to Autumn, and Ellyn is a great way to spend a couple of hours on a rainy days. Even in the sun, particularly in the mornings if you ask me, you can see how the light hits some of the works in the show and completely transform them! So it really is an experience for any kind of day.

If you do pop in to see the exhibition, please consider leaving some feedback for us in our visitors book! Located on the black tables at the back of the room. We would love to hear about how you found your visit and if you enjoyed the show and any other comments you may have. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an exhibition in this space in the Arcade and your feedback helps us continue to improve for next time!

We had the pleasure of having Michael Sandle RA, Graham Hall and Ian Coulson come to the exhibition last week to speak to students at UCM.

We made some very special trips on Friday afternoon to deliver copies of Ellyn to their new homes. I can now confirm that Ellyn, the softback editions are in stock in the following shops across the Island: Lexicon, Bridge and Mostly Manx! You can still pick up a copy from us at the exhibition but if you aren’t heading our way, there will now be a shop near you as well! We are working away to get Ellyn available online as well, so keep an eye out for these announcements.

Don’t forget, the hardbacks are still in production and will be with us very soon as well. The entire first run are being specially gifted, so if you would like to pre order your hardback for the second run, just get in touch to find out more.
That’s all from me for another week.
Bye for now!
